5.Once the call is answered , ChatComm will provide Dekalb with the phone number, the location, the incident or chief complaint (Fire or EMS) of the incident.
After the call was finally answered by Dekalb in 1 minute and 29 seconds, the Chatcomm call taker announced that this was Chatcomm and this was a medical emergency from Dunwoody. Since the call took longer than 13 seconds, the Chatcomm call taker should have initiated EMD interrogation process but did not (see#8 below). Had he had done so the complete process would have been completed by the time the Dekalb 911 Call taker answered the call and the information could have been rapidly conveyed to Dekalb and the dispatch could have occurred in shorter time.
