The three city council men ,Doug Thompson, Jim Riticher, and Denis Shortal was sworn in yesterday by Georgia Supreme Court Justice David Nahmias. Election of Denis Shortal as Mayor Pro Tempore followed. There has been claims of improper voting due to a lack of a signature on the Doug Thompson ballot. Therefore every vote was not assigned to a council person The candidates for Mayor Pro Tem was Doug Thompson and Denny Shortal.
Someone even said" it is like the show "Survivor"' as Mayor Davis called the names written on the ballots.
