Taking it easier this morning I had the opportunity to read Sue Stanton's story in the Crier "Police and Citizens are Christmas Samaritans"
The citizens of Dunwoody are generous
Ms Stantan's story explains how a disabled woman was stranded in Dunwoody and needed to get back home to Washington D.C. The Dunwoody Police Department posted on their social media her situation. Quickly money was raised from citizens of Dunwoody. This is the Dunwoody that we know and love.
Dunwoody has a feel of a town not a urban center, making a connection seeing your neighbor at your churches/synagogues , on the sport fields, and many organizations. We know people in our city. We are a community.
We work together toward the good. Let's make 2014 the year of inclusion and respect.
Those in charge of the school initiative has not reached out to Dunwoodians that could help get their resolution past. Why is that?
Tom and Fran need to speak with those that have political contacts to get the votes for our children education. Our children deserve a good education. Stop playing political games.
